Melba Thins with goat cheese, walnut, figs and apple syrup

These pieces of grains & seeds toast with fresh fig, goat cheese and apple syrup are perfect for when you have people over. They are fresh, crispy and juicy. This combination of textures is a true sensation in your mouth, and a guaranteed hit with your vegetarian friends.

Directions

Preheat the oven at 180 degrees and then roast the walnuts for five minutes in a hot oven. Let them cool down before you break them. In the meantime, slice the goat cheese and cut the figs in twelve pieces.

Spread the apple syrup on the grains & seeds toast and then divide the goat cheese, figs and walnut between the pieces. Enjoy!

Tip: Top the dish off with a leaf of basil.
